From new concepts to newly reworked spaces, the dining scene around Pacific Place and Starstreet Precinct continues to evolve, with familiar names and new concepts shaping what’s on offer. Here are three spots worth seeking out — whether for a quick stop-in or a more elevated meal.

1. Poppy & Aster

A familiar name returns with a new format. Bringing together Sheung Wan’s Poppy and the former Aster by Poppy, Poppy & Aster lands in Starstreet Precinct as a dual-concept space that moves from day to night.

By day, the Aster side takes over with a focused lunch offering — think gourmet burgers built around chicken, beef and fish. Come evening, the space shifts into Poppy mode, with a menu centred on modern European dishes layered with Asian influences.

The result is a more expansive take on the original concept, with dishes that draw on regional flavours and an experimental approach. You’ll also find Starstreet-exclusive wines and cocktails. Behind it is chef Ronald Nelson, whose cooking balances refined technique and bold but balanced flavours.

2. le jus

A lighter addition within Pacific Place, le jus returns with a subtle refresh, continuing its focus on whole fruit and vegetable-based blends. The approach is simple: minimal processing, no additives, and a focus on fibre and balance.

With summer approaching, two frozen smoothies take the spotlight, created with warmer weather in mind. Frozen Berries Holic offers a bright mix of strawberry, blueberry and more, while Frozen Mango Passion leans tropical with mango, pineapple and passionfruit — both with a thicker, more satisfying texture that sits between a drink and a light meal.

3. DALLOYAU

A long-standing name takes on a new format. DALLOYAU’s Pacific Place location now operates as a streamlined counter, shifting to a more grab-and-go experience while retaining its signature French pastry offering as well as its preservative-free chocolates — making it perfect for picking up something considered, whether for gifting, hosting at home or just a quick treat.

You’ll find a curated range of classics and seasonal favourites, including the dreamy lavender-hued Lady Taro-chi birthday cake — a layered combination of chiffon, taro, and mochi — alongside luxurious boxes of the beloved, moreish chocolate bonbons.
