With 18 June just around the corner, it’s almost time to celebrate all the dads, dads to be, and fatherly figures in our lives. And why not show him just how much he means to you by taking him out for a delicious meal? If you’re in need of some Father’s Day food ideas, we’ve got you covered, with a round-up of our top five Father’s Day restaurants that are failsafe when it comes to impressing the man of the house.

Ask for Alonzo

For the dad that can’t go past a big bowl of pasta, this modern trattoria inspired by Mediterranean Italian cooking is just the spot. The cosy hideout tucked away in Starstreet also has a few new dishes on the menu to shake things up this Father’s Day — a Squid Ink Linguini with Sea Urchin Sabayon, a Prawn & Asparagus Risotto in Creamy Lobster Bisque, and a Nduja Spiralotti with Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Ricotta Cheese. Yum!

La Vache!

For the dad that loves his steak classic, La Vache! is top of our list. There’s only one starter and main on the Parisian entrecôte steakhouse’s menu, but you don’t need choices when you have perfection: organic green salad, richly marbled USDA Prime ribeye and as many crispy fries as you can eat. The only questions left: how do you like your steak cooked, and which delicious dessert will you chase it with?
