When it comes to menswear style icons in Hong Kong, Adam Pak is at the top — not only has he earnt plaudits for his acting talent (like his breakout role in L Storm), but he’s regularly applauded for his pitch-perfect fashion choices.
Adam describes his style as minimal — ‘I believe less is more,’ he says — with a feel-good focus. ‘What you wear has to make you feel confident. If it isn’t comfortable, don’t wear it.’ So, when the weather in Hong Kong heats up to its hottest as it has now, you’ll find Adam doubling down on that comfort-first approach. ‘Summer is about being comfortable, and I wear clothes that allow me to spend more time in the sun.’ he says. ‘I like wearing textures that breathe and are not too heavy or restricting.’
As for Adam’s summer plans, he likes to keep it keep it simple. ‘I like to spend it by the sea. Finding a cafe in the shade of palm trees and sipping on a cool drink, that’s where you’ll find me.’
Leaning into that summer spirit, this edition of Guest Editor’s Picks sees Adam take over the reins, selecting his favourite summer menswear picks. Check out his edit here, led by his stunning top pick, Zegna’s orange linen set: ‘I love monochrome looks and earthy colours,’ he says.
