As a Japanese mother, I’ve always cherished traditions. I’m especially touched by the harmonious blend of traditional knotting and modern design showcased at Pacific Place to celebrate the Lunar New Year. My son Yuuma and I were amazed by the Garden of Woven Delights, seeing a towering festive lantern standing over nine metres above us. As we walked on, the ‘Unlock Your Fortune’ gashapon machine caught my son’s attention. His face instantly beamed with excitement when we got the Knot of Infinity! At the Woven Dreamland, Yuuma loved the radiant decorations so much that he didn’t want to leave.
